Welcome to Second Grade!

Dear Parents,

As we begin a new school year, we would like to suggest some items to help with organized study at home.  We will supply the students with at school supplies for them to use in class.  Any donation to purchase supplies for the class is greatly appreciated.

We also recommend that you provide your child a quiet, well-lit, desk-like area for doing his/her homework.

1 box crayons

1 box pencils

1 Fiskar child sized scissors

1-2 Glue sticks                                  

Children’s dictionary 

Please Note:      *It is the teacher’s discretion to allow the use of backbacks.  No rolling

                            backpacks, please.

                           *Please use a sharpie to label your child’s supplies with their name. 

                           *Keep supplies furnished throughout the year.  It might be easy to buy

                             some of these things in packs at Costco and keep extras at home or 

                             donate them to the classroom.
